Varun Dhawan’s next film is going to be with Jawan director Atlee!
The action entertainer is tentatively titled VD18 and is said to be a remake of Atlee’s Tamil action thriller Theri.
VD18 is being directed by Kalees and will be produced by Atlee and Murad Khetani. It is aiming for a theatrical release next year – 31 May 2024.
A source told TOI that Varun will kickstart shooting for VD18 from 16th July. It will commence on a Mumbai set first.
Meanwhile, Varun is gearing up for the release of Bawaal with Janhvi Kapoor. It arrives on Amazon Prime on 21st July. Atlee, on the other hand, hit the headlines after the prevue of his film Jawan with Shah Rukh Khan released recently. It has received a spectacular response.
