Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahaani has opened with an 11-crore collection and is being received quite warmly by the audience.
Apart from Ranveer Singh-Alia Bhatt’s playful romance, it also has a sweet love story between Dharmendra-Shabana Azmi’s characters. Dharmendra recently commented on his kissing scene with Shabana –
The veteran actor said that there is no age for romance! Moreover, he revealed that the scene wasn’t awkward for him and Shabana as it was shot aesthetically and wasn’t forcefully put into the film.
Dharmendra commented – “I am hearing that Shabana and I have surprised the audience with the kissing scene, and at the same time they have even applauded it. I think people weren’t expecting it and it came very suddenly which is why it created an impact.“
He further added, “When Karan narrated the scene to us, I did not get excited. We understood it and I realized that it was something that the film required and wasn’t forcefully put in and I said I will do it. Also, I believe there is no age for romance. Age is just a number and two people irrespective of age will show their love for each other by kissing.”
Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani is a heartwarming love story of two polar opposite characters. The culture of both families clashes heavily, so the duo decide to swap and spend 3 months at each other’s houses to get accustomed to their way of life. But will they survive this transition or will the differences be the end of them?
