The actress recently revealed she wants to play the lead in biopics on Lata Mangeshkar and Padmini Kolhapure.
Well known to be a favourite of the masses, she never misses a chance to surprise her fans or treat them with something new.
Recently, at a fan event hosted by one of the leading media portals, she interacted with fans, and also answered a list of questions by them. Among many, was one interesting question asked about who she would like to play if she had to be part of a biopic.
A fan retorted and mentioned the actresses aunt, Padmini Kolhapure to which Shraddha felt excited and said –
“Best answer. Best answer! I think that bohot accha suggestion mila hai. Padmini kolhapure meri jo masi hai. I would also like to say Lata Mangeshkar. I mean it’s a big big aim but you never know. So my masi and Lata Mangeshkar.”
It will truly be a delight and treat to see Shraddha Kapoor play the characters of Lata Mangeshkar and Padmini Kolhapure honouring the lineage of her family.
Meanwhile on the work front, after receiving immense love for her character in Stree, she will be next seen in the sequel for much awaited horror comedy, ‘Stree 2’. She has recently wrapped the first schedule of the film in Chanderi.
