Directed by Amit Rai, the much-anticipated sequel stars Akshay Kumar, Pankaj Tripathi and Yami Gautam in the lead.

The movie revolves around the story of Kanti Sharan Mudgal (played by Pankaj Tripathi). His blissful life takes dramatic turn after his son Vivek is blamed for immoral conduct and expelled from school. Overwhelmed, Kanti plans to leave town until a divine intervention leads him to seek justice by taking those responsible to court.

Akshay Kumar:
In OMG 2, Akshay Kumar will be seen as the messenger of Lord Shiva. The actor has reportedly slashed his multi-crore fees to Rs 35 crores for this film due to his back-to-back flops at the box office in recent times.

Pankaj Tripathi:
Pankaj Tripathi plays the role of a devout worshipper of Lord Shiva who has put all his faith and trust on him. He calls out to Lord Shiva for help and his prayers get answered through Akshay. As per reports, Pankaj has charged Rs 5 crores for this film.

Yami Gautam:
Yami Gautam will be seen as a feisty lawyer, Kamini Maheshwari who is fighting against Tripathi’s character in the courtroom. She is said to have reportedly taken to the tune of Rs 8 crores for her role.

In cinemas on 11 August 2023!
The movie has been cleared with an ‘A’ (Adults Only) certificate from the censor board and will have a box office clash with Gadar 2.
