Gadar 2 movie has taken the box office by storm.
Starring Sunny Deol, Ameesha Patel and Utkarsh Sharma, the sequel has already crossed the 300-crore mark at the box office.

Directed by Anil Sharma, Gadar 2 released in theatres on 11 August 2023, clashing with Akshay Kumar’s much-anticipated sequel OMG 2. Both the films are working their magic at the box office.
Gadar 2 – a sequel to the 2001 masterpiece – takes off exactly from the makers had left things off in the first part.

Ever since the film hit theatres, it’s seen only glorious days at the box office. The film has been enjoying a dreamy run and is looking forward to a successful 2nd weekend at the ticket counter.
According to trade analyst Taran Adarsh, the sequel minted Rs 20.50 crores on Friday (Week 2), taking the total domestic collection to Rs 305.13 CRORES in just 8 days. Reportedly, Gadar 2 had an overall occupancy of 32.06% in the Hindi belt.

Set against the backdrop of the ‘Crush India Movement’ of 1971, Sunny, Ameesha and Utkarsh have reprised their respective roles as truck driver Tara Singh, his Pakistani wife Sakina and their son Charanjit Singh aka Jeete.
The film maintained a good footfall in cinemas despite competition from Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani, OMG 2 and Ghoomer.
