OMG 2 movie crosses Rs 100 CRORES at the box office.
The film stars Akshay Kumar, Pankaj Tripathi and Yami Gautam in lead roles.
Directed by Amit Rai, the sequel hit theatres on 11 August 2023; clashing with Sunny Deol’s Gadar 2.
OMG 2 – a sequel to the 2012 super-hit satirical comedy-drama – talks about the importance of sex education in Indian schools.
OMG 2 Synopsis:
Life is bliss until one day Kanti Sharan Mudgal’s son Vivek is blamed for immoral conduct and expelled from school. Overwhelmed, Kanti plans to leave town until a divine intervention leads him to seek justice by taking those responsible to court.
OMG 2 Movie Latest Box Office Collection:
Despite a highly-anticipated clash with Gadar 2, the Akshay Kumar-starrer opened to positive reviews from fans and critics alike, managing to bring in moolah. The film has crossed the Rs 100-crore mark at the box office.
According to trade analyst Taran Adarsh, the OMG 2 collected Rs 10.53 crores on its second weekend, taking the total collection to Rs 101.61CRORES in 9 days.
Reportedly, the film saw an overall occupancy of 45.94% in the Hindi belt.

In the movie, Akshay is seen as the messenger of Lord Shiva. Pankaj Tripathi plays the role of a devout worshipper of Lord Shiva, while Yami essays a fierce lawyer named Kamini.
The movie faced several setbacks and was granted an ‘Adults Only (A)’ certificate by the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC). Aarush Verma, who plays the role of Pankaj Tripathi’s son, also filed a petition for removal of this ‘A’ certification!
