Dream Girl 2 – a sequel to Ayushmann‘s 2019 comedy blockbuster – stars Ananya Panday as the female lead along with Annu Kapoor, Paresh Rawal, Vijay Raaz, Rajpal Yadav, Asrani, Manoj Joshi, Abhishek Banerjee, Seema Pahwa, Manjot Singh and Ranjan Raj.
The actor reprised his role as Karam and once again slipped into his one of the most loved character, Pooja.
Dream Girl 2 Box Office Collection Day 2:
The film opened to positive response from fans and critics alike. Dream Girl 2 collected Rs 10.69 crores on its first day, marking the biggest opener of Ayushmann’s career.
According to trade analyst Taran Adarsh, the sequel collected Rs 14.02 crores on Saturday, taking the total collection to Rs 24.71 crores in two days. Reportedly, the film had an overall occupancy of 41.4% in the Hindi belt.
Day 1 : ₹10.69 cr
Day 2 : ₹14.02 cr
Total: ₹24.71 CRORES!
Talking about Dream Girl 2 being the biggest opener of his career, the actor said in a statement –
