Jawan trailer dropped today and has set the Internet ablaze! The massy actioner, directed by Atlee, stars Shah Rukh Khan in a double role, Nayanthara as the female lead, and Vijay Sethupathi as the antagonist. Sanya Malhotra, Priyamani also have prominent roles and Jawan features SRK’s Pathaan co-star Deepika Padukone in a special appearance.

Deepika seems to be playing the love interest of the older SRK, while Nayanthara has been paired opposite the younger version. Jawan appears to be at heart a father-son story, a revenge drama, with SRK playing both a soldier and a menacing terrorist! Vijay Sethupathi plays the villain, featuring as a cold-blooded arms dealer.
We can’t wait to see this grand spectacle unfold on the big screen!

For the unversed, Jawan is said to have been made on a whopping budget of Rs 300 CRORES!
“Jawan is Shah Rukh Khan’s most expensive film till date made on a budget of Rs. 300 crores. King Khan is known to be a gracious producer who loves to spend big to give his audience the best experience on the big screen. Atlee is also a director who is a big believer of the theatrical medium and the duo have come together to create one of the biggest action thrillers of all time,” a source revealed.

The SRK starrer is making records even before its release. It has fetched 250 crores for its digital, satellite, and music rights!
The songs from the films are winning over the audience as well. While the Prevue theme is absolutely badass, the Zinda Banda track has proven to be an energetic dance anthem. Chaleya made for a beautiful romantic song and Not Ramaiya Vastavaiya is another peppy addition to the album!
