Jaane Jaan Trailer dropped today with much fanfare, starring Kareena Kapoor Khan, Jaideep Ahlawat, Vijay Varma. Directed by Sujoy Ghosh, it is based on the bestselling Japanese mystery novel The Devotion of Suspect X.
Set against the mysterious Kalimpong hill station, the film revolves around the enigmatic Maya D’Souza (Kareena). She’s the prime suspect in the investigation for her missing husband. On the surface, it appears she was in an abusive relationship, and hence murdered him. Her neighbour (played by Jaideep) seems to be aware of the situation and from the looks of it, is obsessed with her.
Vijay Varma plays the cop investigating the mysterious Maya. The two develop a romantic bond…. but is that a calculated seduction and is Maya more than what she portrays?

It will premiere on 21 September 2023 only on Netflix!
Talking about the film, Kareena Kapoor Khan said, “I am so excited the trailer is finally yours to see! This is the first time audiences will see me in a thriller, playing something gritty like this. Jaane Jaan was a script that I had to say YES to the first time I heard of it. I have always told Sujoy the USP of this film is its cast and I had a superb time working with Jaideep and Vijay. I can’t wait for Netflix audiences to enjoy it.”
Kareena Kapoor Khan Upcoming Movies:
Kareena Kapoor will be also seen in Hansal Mehta’s The Buckingham Murders, for which she is also donning the producer’s hat. The Laal Singh Chaddha actress has the female-centric film The Crew with Kriti Sanon and Tabu.
Meanwhile, Vijay Varma will next be seen in Murder Mubarak and Afghani Show.
