Recent reports certainly seem to suggest so. For the unversed, Ranbir’s current market value is 70 crores per movie.

However, if Pinkvilla report is to be believed, this time around Ranbir has cut his remuneration by half! Ranbir Kapoor Animal Fee – it’s only Rs 30 – 35 crores! He’ll instead be having a share in the profits if Animal turns out to be a monetary success.

Apparently, RK charged less for Animal to allow more room in the budget for honing the production value of the film! Isn’t that something?
Animal Teaser:
The highly-anticipated teaser of Animal dropped recently on the special occasion of Ranbir Kapoor’s 41st birthday. Set against the backdrop of a bloodshed underworld, the gangster drama revolves around the toxic relationship between a father (played by Ani Kapoor) and son (played by Ranbir).
Directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga (Arjun Reddy & Kabir Singh fame), the film also stars Rashmika Mandanna as RK’s onscreen wife, Bobby Deol as the alleged villain and Triptii Dimri in a key role.
Animal Movie Release Date:
In cinemas on 1st December 2023!
The budget of Animal is reportedly a whopping 100 crores. Though it was initially slated to release in August, it got postponed to December due to pending work on the film.
Sandeep Reddy Vanga had commented – “The only reason is,(for the delay) and it might sound like a generic answer, the quality. There are 7 songs in the film, and when seven songs are multiplied by five languages, they become 35 songs with different sets of lyrics and singles, so it’s going to take a little more time than what I’ve actually put in for.”
Apart from Animal, Ranbir will be seen in the Brahmastra sequels. While Brahmastra: Part Two Dev is aiming for a December 2026 release, the 3rd part is said to release a year later in December 2027.
