Rakul Preet Singh & Neena Gupta have joined forces for a new comedy-thriller movie.
Previously, the duo shared the screen space in Arjun Kapoor starrer Sardar Ka Grandson.
As Pinkvilla reported, Rakul Preet Singh-Neena Gupta are all set to headline a new yet-to-be-titled comedy-thriller.
The movie in question is said to be directed by Ashish R. Shukla (critically-acclaimed crime-thriller series Undekhi fame). Described as ‘uniquely crafted comedy’, the film is being produced by Sunir Kheterpal (known for producing films like Badla, Kesari, Rocky Handsome, Bloody Daddy and more) under his production banner Athena ENM.
“It is a very differently set comedy and it is super exciting since both are good performers. The film will be going on floors in October end. They will be shooting for it in and around Mumbai. The film will be directed by Ashish Shukla, whose recent work ‘Undekhi’ received much praise.”

Reportedly, the movie is expected to go on floors by the end of this month in Mumbai. However, there is no official confirmation yet.
Rakul Preet Singh Upcoming Movies:
After wrapping up the comedy-thriller with Neena Gupta by December this year, Rakul is said to be headlining a woman-led action film. She is reportedly in talks for an action flick, however, she hasn’t signed it yet.
She also has De De Pyaar De sequel with Ajay Devgn, Mere Husband Ki Biwi with Arjun Kapoor and Bhumi Pednekar.

Neena Gupta Upcoming Movies:
On the work front, Neena Gupta has Anurag Basu’s Metro… In Dino, late Satish Kaushik’s last movie Kaagaz 2 and a musical-drama Hindi-Vindi with The Archies fame Mihir Ahuja.
She was recently seen in Vishal Bharadwaj’s SonyLIV series Charlie Chopra & The Mystery of the Solang Valley.
