Ira Khan-Nupur Shikhare wedding date confirmed by Aamir Khan!
Aamir Khan’s daughter Ira is tying the knot to longtime boyfriend Nupur Shikhare on 3rd January 2024!
While talking to News18, Aamir Khan confirmed the date and had nothing but fond words for his soon-to-become son-in-law Nupur. He praised Nupur for supporting Ira during troubling times like when she was battling depression.
Ira Khan-Nupur Shikhare Wedding Date:
“Ira is getting married on January 3. The boy she has chosen is — waise toh pet name unka naam Popoye hai — he is trainer, he has arms like Popoye but his name is Nupur. He is a lovely boy. When Ira was battling depression, he was with her. He is really someone who has stood by her and emotionally supported her. I am happy that she has selected a boy who… they are so happy together. They are very well connected, they really look after each other and care for each other,” he said.
“This might be a filmy dialogue but I feel Nupur is like a son. Nupur is such a fine boy, we really feel he’s part of the family!” – Aamir commented.

Ira Khan and Nupur Shikhare got engaged on November 18 last year. If previous reports are to be believed then, the duo will have a court marriage first and then celebrate with a lavish ceremony in Udaipur, Rajasthan.
It will be an elaborate, three-day event in the presence of close friends and family. Apparently, there won’t be too much of a film industry crowd and it’s going to be limited to intimate family members only.

For the unversed, Nupur Shikhare is a celebrity fitness trainer and consultant, specialising in Calisthenics. He is the founder of Fitnessism. He and Ira had begun dating in 2020 allegedly.
The pair got closer during the lockdown and were inseparable since then.
