Bollywood actress Preity Zinta has reportedly purchased a luxurious apartment in the posh Bandra locality of Mumbai for a whopping Rs 17 crore.
The flat, located in the Pali Hill area, is over 1,400 square feet and has two reserved parking spots.
According to reports, Zinta purchased the flat from Keystone Realtors Limited on October 23, 2023. The property registration documents show that she paid a stamp duty of Rs 85 lakh for the apartment.
Zinta’s purchase of the expensive flat comes when the Mumbai real estate market is booming. The city has seen a surge in demand for luxury properties in recent years, driven by wealthy investors and celebrities. The apartment was on the eleventh level of the ‘Parishram’ skyscraper in Bandra West.
Preity has surprised everyone by buying the flat she and Gene Goodenough lived in before they were married.
Zinta is not the only Bollywood star to have invested in Mumbai real estate in recent months. Other celebrities recently purchasing luxury apartments in the city include Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, and Deepika Padukone.
Zinta’s purchase of the 17 crore flat is a testament to her success as an actress and entrepreneur. She has starred in some of the biggest Bollywood blockbusters of all time, including “Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge,” “Kal Ho Naa Ho,” and “Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna.” She is also a co-owner of the Indian Premier League team Kings XI Punjab.
Zinta’s move to the new apartment in Bandra will bring her closer to the heart of the Bollywood industry. The area is home to many other Bollywood stars and celebrities, as well as a number of film studios and production houses.
