Ankita Lokhande opened up on her break up with late actor Sushant Singh Rajput in the latest episode of Bigg Boss 17.
The couple had dated for seven years before parting ways in 2016.
Salman Khan-hosted show Bigg Boss 17 is grabbing headlines over its fights and drama. Ankita Lokhande, who participated in the show with her husband Vicky Jain, finally addressed her break up with SSR for the first time on BB17 while talking to one of her co-contestants Munawar Faruqui.
For the unversed, Ankita and Sushant had met on the sets of their daily soap, Pavitra Rishta. The duo fell in love and started dating each other in 2010. The couple had broken up in 2016.

During her conversation with Munawar, Ankita shared there was no reason behind their break up. She revealed that their break up happened suddenly and SSR never gave her any reason.
“Tab toh koi nahi tha na mere sath. Woh phase mainay akele guzara mainay. Tab logonay kyun nahi kaha ki aapko Ankita ke sath rehna chahiye. Kaha thay log. Mainay toh woh phase akele guzara na. (Why didn’t people come out and say that he (Sushant Singh Rajput) should have stayed with me? No one was there for me. I faced it all by myself).”
To this, Munawar asks, “Was there any specific reason for the break up?” Anikta replies –
“There was no reason. And I was blank. Ek raat main cheezay palti meri life mein (Things changed in my life overnight).”
Ankita Lokhande continued –“Woh (Sushant) ek dum ek raat mein gayab ho gaya. Success mil rahi thi toh log uske kaan bhar rahe the.(He suddenly disappeared. He was getting success so people were trying to manipulate him]. But theek hai. Woh uska matter tha. Mainay usko kabhi roka bhi nahi. (But it’s okay. It was his call. I didn’t say much.)”
Ankita Lokhande tied the knot with her businessman-boyfriend Vicky Jain on 14th December 2021.
