Kantara A Legend: Chapter 1 will release in 7 languages this time: Kannada, Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Bengali and English.
Kantara A Legend: Chapter 1 1st Look Out On 27 November
Hombale Films will launch Kantara A Legend: Chapter 1 on 27 November 2023 with a mahurat ceremony. The first look will be unveiled at 12:25 pm on 27 November. The tagline on the poster reads – “It’s not just light, it’s a darshana.”
Rishab Shetty On Kantara Prequel
Rishab had previously commented – “Everyone has been asking for Kantara Part 2, but I would like to tell you that what you witnessed was the sequel. What we will be making next is the first part… we will showcase the happenings that unfolded prior to what you’ve watched.”
“Expectations are high, so we are ensuring that the plot and theme are engaging, and high on the intrigue factor for audiences,” Rishab added.
Made on a modest budget of 16 crore Kantara (2022) had crossed a whopping 450 crores at the box office and emerged as a blockbuster success.
It was a big commercial success and emerged as the second highest-grossing Kannada film of all time after K.G.F: Chapter 2, released the same year. It was also 2022’s fourth highest-grossing film in India.
