Randeep Hooda has finally tied the knot with his long-term beau Lin Laishram and the newly married couple has released some pictures from the ceremony.

Randeep Hooda and Lin Laishram got married in Imphal, Manipur. They looked like the most perfect Manipuri Groom and Manipuri Bride in the wedding ceremony.

The couple even exchanged garlands during the ceremony and looked completely ethereal while doing so. They reached Imphal on November 27. After seeking blessings at the temples, Lin and Randeep visited a relief camp in Moirang and Loktak Lake.

Their official wedding statement read, “Taking a leaf out of Mahabharata where Arjuna married Manipuri Warrior Princess Chitrangada, We are getting married with the blessings from our families and friends. We are filled with immense joy to share that our marriage will take place on the 29th Of November 2023, Imphal, Manipur followed by a reception in Mumbai. As we set to embark on this journey, we seek your blessings and love for this union of cultures, for which we are forever indebted and grateful. In love and light, Lin and Randeep (sic).”

While talking about Lin’s Manipuri jewellery – Likhom is the long necklace and apart from that the brides flaunt two different sets of Merei and must be included in the bride’s attire. There is also a headgear that the brides must wear.

And while talking about Lin’s wedding outfit, Manipuri bride wears a traditional Rasleela dress for her wedding function. Being ardent followers of Radha and Krishna, the drum-like Manipuri bridal dress called Potloi has significant religious motifs hand-embroidered by skilled traditional weavers and they have been done since ages!
