Aamir Khan’s daughter Ira Khan is marrying Nupur Shikhare on 3rd January. He is a fitness trainer and an athlete who specialises in Calisthenics.
Who Is Nupur Shikhare?
Nupur was born in Pune on October 17, 1985. He has allegedly worked as a fitness trainer for Sushmita Sen and his father-in-law Aamir Khan. His parents are Rajendra Shikhare and Pritam Shikhare. His Mom Pritam is a trained Kathak dancer and has trained Sushmita Sen’s daughter Renee Sen.

As per reports, Nupur Shikhare has also worked as an action director for Disney India’s show Aladdin. He has even played tennis at the national level. Shikhare represented India at the American reality competition Ultimate Beastmaster Season 2. His Instagram handle is nupur_popeye.
Ira Khan-Nupur Shikhare Love Story –
Ira and Nupur’s romance blossomed during the COVID-19 lockdown. Ira was staying with her father Aamir Khan and Nupur used to come to train him.
They made their relationship Instagram official soon afterwards. Nupur proposed to Ira in September 2022 in a truly filmi moment. Nupur and Ira got officially engaged on 18 November 2022 with a grand celebration party.
Nupur Shikhare made his entry unique – jogging from Santa Cruz to the wedding venue in Bandra, which amounts to almost 8 km.
Ira Khan and Nupur Shikhare are registering their marriage at Taj Lands End in the presence of family and friends on January 3. The wedding will be followed by a reception for limited guests. A grand wedding ceremony has been planned in Udaipur on January 8.

Ira was initially hesitant about dating Nupur, fearing the burden of her emotional baggage on him.
“Initially, I was like ‘we should not date because I don’t want to get into a relationship with you, because I don’t know what is going on in my head, who’s if you want to deal with it or not.’ And I went back and forth about that thought for so long. Later, I realised he was an adult. Why don’t I ask him? So, I asked him, I was like ‘listen, all these thoughts are going on in my head.’ And that’s how we started dating,” Ira had said.
