Inshallah was originally supposed to star Salman Khan and Alia Bhatt. But looks like the pairing is not materializing. A source revealed that SRK has shown interest in Inshallah, though confirmation of his involvement in the movie is still awaited.

“Inshallah is a step in a new direction for Sanjay Leela Bhansali in today’s time and even he is in the mindset to explore a rather light-hearted romantic comedy, stepping back from the intense period dramas. SLB has met SRK a couple of times over the last few months. It’s a story and character which suits Shah Rukh Khan’s personality and he is in conversations to get him on board,” a source said.

Shah Rukh Khan Upcoming Movies:

SRK will be seen in Tiger vs Pathaan. He is also teaming up with his daughter Suhana Khan for a movie titled The King. The upcoming directorial is being helmed by Sujoy Ghosh and produced by Gauri Khan’s Red Chillies Entertainment, Siddharth Anand-led Marflix and Sujoy’s Boundscript Entertainment.

As per reports, it is also being said that SRK was approached for a Vishal Bhardwaj film. Rumours about him starring in Dhoom 4 were quickly squashed as untrue.

Heeramandi

SLB is helming the Netflix webseries – Heeramandi. It is an eight-episode show revolving around the lives of courtesans in pre-independence India.

He is also allegedly teaming up with Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt for Baiju Bawra.
