The father-daughter duo to share the screen space for the first time in Sujoy Ghosh’s next.
The dynamic father-daughter duo, Shah Rukh Khan-Suhana Khan are all set to team up for the first time for Sujoy Ghosh’s upcoming directorial titled The King.
As reported earlier, Suhana plays the role of a spy in the film, while Shah Rukh Khan will be seen as her handler. Suhana recently made her acting debut as Veronica Lodge in Zoya Akhtar’s The Archies.

Shah Rukh Khan-Suhana Khan Movie; Adaptation Of Leon:
Apparently, The King is said to be a Modern day adaptation of 1994 released French-English Action film Leon – The Professional.
For the unversed, Leon has already been remade into Bobby Deol-Rani Muekrji starrer 2000 action-thriller film, Bicchhoo.
Produced by Gauri Khan’s Red Chillies Entertainment, Siddharth Anand-led Marflix and Sujoy’s Boundscript Entertainemnt, the action film – The King – will go on floors in 2024 and is likely to be either a late 2024 or January-February 2025 release.

In a recent interview with Raya Abirached, the Dunki confirmed that he will start shooting for his next movie in March-April 2024. Talking about it, he said –
“I will start one in March, April now. I am attempting now to do a film which is more age-real to me, and play it still as the protagonist and as the star of the film. I think one of the few things in Indian films we missed out on is people can play the age and play the star still…Because it does get a little tiring trying to bring in that kind of charm which existed 20 years ago what I used to do. I think I may have a new charm which is more age-centric. I’d like to do another action film.”
