Varun Dhawan-Janhvi Kapoor movie – Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari announced!
Written and directed by Shashank Khaitan (of Badrinath Ki Dulhania fame). The love story is produced by Hiroo Yash Johar, Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta and Shashank Khaitan.
Varun Dhawan-Janhvi Kapoor Movie: Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari
Varun Dhawan plays the role of Sunny Sanskari while Janhvi Kapoor plays the role of Tulsi Kumari. For the unversed, this is the third time that Varun is collaborating with Shashank Khaitan. He has previously worked with the director for Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania and Badrinath Ki Dulhania.

Before the announcement of this film, there was speculation that Alia Bhatt had been replaced by Janhvi Kapoor in the Dulhania series. Fans are wondering if Dulhania 3 has been repackaged into a new offering!

However, Karan Johar had reacted to rumours with a sternly worded note on Insta – “Every morning I wake up to news that is not an official confirmation by Dharma Productions… would request members of the media to please not conjecture about the continuance of a franchise or the beginning of one! We will give details when the time and plans are formulated and fructified!“

Besides Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari, Varun Dhawan has the Citadel spin-off series coming up with Samantha Ruth Prabhu. He’s also doing the Hindi remake of Atlee’s Theri film – Baby John.
Janhvi Kapoor, on the other hand, has the pan-Indian film Devara with Jr NTR and Saif Ali Khan in her line-up. She will also be seen in Mr and Mrs Mahi with Rajkummar Rao and Ulajh with Gulshan Devaiah and Roshan Mathew.
For the unversed, Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor have previously co-starred in Nitesh Tiwari’s 2023 film Bawaal.
