The Dunki actress tied the knot with her longtime boyfriend Mathias on 23rd March in an intimate wedding ceremony in Udaipur.

The couple is yet to officially reveal their wedding pictures and videos. However, a few sneak peeks from their wedding and sangeet have started doing the rounds on social media.
Taapsee’s bridal entry and varmala with Mathias Boe can be seen in the leaked video. While Taapsee makes for a radiant, happy bride decked up in heavy jewellery and red suit, Mathias looks like a dashing groom in an ivory sherwani and pagdi!
Videos from Taapsee Pannu-Mathias Boe’s sangeet night also went viral! The couple was seen dancing to Bruno Mars’ Just The Way You Are. Taapsee wore a white sharara while Mathias wore a pink suit.

The pre-wedding functions took place on 20th March. Celebs like producer-writer Kanika Dhillon, Taapsee’s Thappad co-star Pavail Gulati and her Dobaraa director Anurag Kashyap were in attendance. The wedding ceremonies were a blend of Sikh and Christian rituals reportedly.
A source said – “The wedding took place in Udaipur and was an extremely intimate affair. The pre-wedding festivities kicked-started on March 20. The couple was very sure that they didn’t want any media attention on their big day. Both of them are known to be very private and reserved people, and they wouldn’t have had it any other way.”

Who Is Mathias Boe?
Born in Denmark, Mathias Boe is a former Badminton player. After making his international debut in 1998, he rose to the world No.1 position in doubles.
During his illustrious career, he has several notable achievements to his name including men’s doubles silver medal at 2012 Olympics in London, 2013 World Championship silver and the Danish 2016 Thomas Cup win.
After a 2-decade-long successful career, Mathias announced his retirement in 2020 at the age of 39. He is currently the men’s doubles coach for the Indian national badminton team.
How Did Taapsee & Mathias Meet?
Taapsee and Mathias have been in a relationship for over a decade now! She met him at a badminton match and reportedly calls her relationship a ‘no baggage, no burden’ one.
“I met him during a badminton match. I was a spectator and he was a player. We ended up chatting on Twitter a bit and then we met each other. Since then, it’s been stable, nice, happy, calm. No baggage, no burden relationship,” she said.
