This decision comes amid speculation about his involvement in the much-anticipated Don 3. Reports suggest Vikrant was approached to play the main antagonist opposite Ranveer Singh, a role that could have marked a significant career milestone. However, with his sabbatical underway, it remains uncertain whether he will take on the role before or after his break or if director Farhan Akhtar will proceed with someone else for this pivotal part.
Vikrant Massey To Take Acting Break Due To Health Reasons:
Speaking about his decision, a close friend of Vikrant commented on the reasons behind the hiatus –
“It is not exhaustion. It is certainly not boredom, what has he got to be bored about? His career has just taken off, actually. Until recently, Vikrant was very annoyed about being cast as the second lead, or otherwise the male lead in female-centric films. 12th Fail changed that.”
While Vikrant’s career was thriving, health concerns had posed a hurdle. “It’s nothing serious. But nothing he can ignore either. The doctors have advised him to take some time off from his acting assignments. He will be away from acting for a year, or maybe a little more. That’s it,” his friend added.
Fans remain optimistic about Vikrant’s return, eagerly awaiting his future projects. Whether he joins Don 3 post-hiatus or explores new opportunities, his dedication to his craft ensures that his comeback will be worth the wait.
