The buzz in the film industry right now centers around that Kartik Aaryan will be paired with Ananya Panday in the upcoming rom-com Tu Meri Main Tera, Main Tera Tu Meri.
While the names of several popular, youth-favorite actresses have been making the rounds, an official announcement is yet to be made.
Amid the speculation, a news portal has reported that Ananya Panday has been cast as the female lead in this Karan Johar-backed project. As per reports, a source said, “Kartik and Karan were looking for an actress with strong pull in the youth, and after contemplating the names, they have locked Ananya to play the female lead. Ananya and Kartik are a successful pair, and this would extend their partnership further.”

Ananya Panday and Kartik Aaryan previously worked together in the 2019 blockbuster Pati Patni Aur Woh, and audiences widely appreciated their on-screen chemistry. According to reports, Tu Meri Main Tera, Main Tera Tu Meri features Ananya as the lead, while the sequel to Pati Patni Aur Woh will star Sharvari. Meanwhile, speculation existed about the Munjya star teaming up with Kartik for the Dharma Productions rom-com.
The source added, “While Ananya is doing Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri, Kartik has promised another film to Sharvari. The duo will be teaming up on another love story by the end of 2025. Kartik is clear to maintain equations with all his female co-stars, and a promise made now will be fulfilled soon. He has also offered Pati Patni Aur Woh 2 to Sharvari.”
Tu Meri Main Tera, Main Tera Tu Meri will be helmed by National Award-winning director Sameer Vidwans. This marks his second Hindi directorial venture after the 2023 hit Satyaprem Ki Katha starring Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani. The film is slated for release in 2026.
