Hera Pheri 3: Akshay Kumar Sues Paresh Rawal For 25 Crore For Quitting?
Paresh Rawal has confirmed that he has stepped away from the much-awaited sequel Hera Pheri 3. Following this, reports suggest that Akshay Kumar has filed a Rs 25 crore lawsuit against him.

The reason behind the lawsuit is said to be the setbacks caused to the production after Paresh Rawal’s sudden exit. According to a report by Hindustan Times, Akshay believes that Paresh’s decision to leave the project has led to significant losses. The lawsuit reportedly claims that this was a case of professional sabotage.

Meanwhile, Paresh Rawal has stated that his exit had nothing to do with creative issues. He posted on X (formerly Twitter):
“I wish to put it on record that my decision to step away from Hera Pheri 3 was not due to creative differences. I REITERATE THAT THERE ARE NO CREATIVE DISAGREEMENT WITH THE FILM MAKER. I hold immense love, respect, and faith in Mr. Priyadarshan the film director.”

Paresh had agreed to do the film earlier this year. Reports say he was paid three times his usual fee. He was involved in pre-production, shot for a day, and even appeared in the teaser promo.
Hera Pheri 3 Director Priyadarshan On Akshay Kumar Suing Paresh Rawal
Director Priyadarshan also reacted to the lawsuit. As per HT report, he said –
“I don’t know why this happened because Paresh didn’t inform us. Before starting the film, Akshay asked me to check with both Paresh and Suniel and I did and both were onboard.”
The director further added, “I don’t have anything to lose but Akshay has invested money and that could be the reason why he is taking this action. Paresh Rawal hasn’t spoken to me till date.”
Fans are now wondering what this means for the future of Hera Pheri 3.
