On Friday, reports emerged that actor Paresh Rawal, known for his iconic portrayal of Baburao Ganpatrao Apte, has exited Hera Pheri 3.
Now, the actor has taken to social media to address the speculation surrounding his departure from the much-anticipated comedy sequel, which Priyadarshan is helming.

Rumours had been swirling that Paresh Rawal’s departure from Hera Pheri 3 stemmed from creative clashes with director Priyadarshan. However, the actor promptly put those speculations to rest. Taking to X, he clarified, “I want to state clearly that my decision to step away from Hera Pheri 3 was not because of any creative differences. I have nothing but love, respect, and complete faith in Mr. Priyadarshan as a filmmaker.”

Although Paresh Rawal hasn’t disclosed the exact reason for his exit from the film, industry sources speculate that it may be linked to scheduling clashes or other professional obligations.
Hera Pheri 3 marks the third chapter in the beloved Hera Pheri franchise, with Paresh Rawal’s iconic portrayal of Baburao Ganpatrao Apte remaining one of its most cherished elements.
The upcoming installment is set to be helmed by Priyadarshan, who is currently working on Bhoot Bangla—a film that also features Paresh Rawal and Akshay Kumar. The makers have already completed the muhurat shot for Hera Pheri 3 with the original trio: Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty, and Paresh Rawal.
Paresh Rawal is also reuniting with director Priyadarshan for the upcoming horror-comedy Bhooth Bangla, which will see him share screen space with Akshay Kumar and Tabu. The film is scheduled for a theatrical release in 2026. In addition to this, Paresh is also part of another anticipated project titled Welcome to the Jungle.
