Spirit: Tripti Dimri Fee Is 16 Crores Lesser Than Deepika Padukone’s!
There’s a lot of buzz around the upcoming Prabhas-starrer Spirit, and not just because of the film. The spotlight is now on Tripti Dimri, who has officially replaced Deepika Padukone in the lead role. And what’s making headlines? The massive difference in their pay.

Triptii is allegedly being paid around Rs 4 crore for her role, significantly lesser than what Deepika’s reported fee was. Initially, Deepika had reportedly asked for Rs 40 crore, but the producers and director Sandeep Reddy Vanga were only ready to pay Rs 20 crore.
Sources claim Deepika had certain conditions. She didn’t want to shoot for more than six hours a day and asked for extra pay if the shoot went over 100 days. There were also rumors that she wasn’t keen on dubbing in Telugu.
Some in the industry saw this as unprofessional. But fans quickly came to her defense, reminding everyone that Deepika just became a mom to baby Dua and might be balancing work and family.

There’s also talk about the film’s content. Spirit is supposed to be an intense, A-rated cop thriller with some bold scenes. The A-rated content could have been another reason why Deepika stepped away.

But things got messier when director Sandeep Reddy Vanga took a public swipe at Deepika. He accused her PR of leaking Spirit’s story and trying to undermine Triptii. In a strong social media post, he called her actions a “frustrated PR stunt” and questioned what her feminism really stood for.
