In an exclusive chat with Instant Bollywood, when asked how she met Govinda, Sunita shared with a smile –
“At my sister’s house. He was struggling at the time, he had just finished his B.Com and come to Mumbai. My brother-in-law was a director and producer. He gave Govinda his first break in Tan Badan. So, through frequent visits to my sister’s place, love happened. Three years of courtship, then we got married.”

It was not his fame or looks that caught her attention. What touched her the most was his genuine nature.
“He was very simple and kind. He loved his mom a lot, and that simplicity really touched me, and of course, he loved me too.”

“He still calls me a Baccha. I’m 55 now… how do I look like a child? I told him, if I’m a child, then carry me around in your arms!”
