Fast forward a few years, and they reunited again for Do Patti; a gripping mystery thriller where both women brought very different characters to life. In an exclusive chat with Instant Bollywood, Kajol was asked about the remarkable transformation she witnessed in Kriti over the years.
She had first seen Kriti as a newcomer, full of promise and potential. And in Do Patti, she saw her not only as a more experienced actor but also as a producer.

“Definitely, there was a major difference in her. And I would say, all for the better. She is much more rounded as an actress, much more rounded as a person. Obviously doing new things. There has been a huge change in her,” Kajol said, impressed by Kriti’s growth.
Kriti, who once played a bubbly young character in Dilwale, took on a much more complex role in Do Patti. She portrayed two mysterious twins. Kajol, on the other hand, played a sharp, no-nonsense cop determined to get to the truth.
