Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari Release Date Locked; Varun Dhawan’s First Look Out
It’s official! The much-awaited film Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari, starring Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor, finally has a release date.
The romantic comedy, directed by Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania and Badrinath Ki Dulhania fame Shashank Khaitaan, will hit theatres on October 2nd, 2025.
But hold on, it’s not going to be a smooth solo release. The movie is all set to clash at the box office with Rishab Shetty’s Kantara Chapter 1, making it an exciting long weekend for moviegoers.
Dharma Productions made the big announcement on Instagram and also dropped the first look of Varun Dhawan from the film. The caption on their post read –
“Sunny Sanskari ki shaayari – ‘Yeh aansoon hain mere, samundar ka jal nahin…Yeh aansoon hai mere, samundar ka jal nahin…Baarish ka kya bharosa, aaj hai…kal nahi!!!’ #SunnySanskariKiTulsiKumari in cinemas, 2nd October 2025!”
This film marks the third collaboration between Varun Dhawan and director Shashank Khaitaan under Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions. Their previous films were big hits that mixed feel-good romance with plenty of laughs, so expectations are high for this one too.
Joining the fun cast is Janhvi Kapoor, who plays the mysterious and charming Tulsi Kumari. The movie also stars Sanya Malhotra, Rohit Saraf, and Maniesh Paul in key roles.
The team has been filming across stunning locations, from Mumbai to Udaipur, with vibrant wedding scenes and colorful song-and-dance sequences bringing the story to life.
