EXCLUSIVE: Ali Fazal Reveals His Crazy Workout For Guddu Bhaiya, Shares 3 Fitness Tips
Ali Fazal is the kind of actor who doesn’t just play a role. He becomes it. Whether he’s walking international red carpets or bringing raw intensity to characters like Guddu Bhaiya in Mirzapur, the man is all in. And when it came to physically transforming himself for that role, Ali didn’t hold back one bit.
EXCLUSIVE: Ali Fazal Reveals His Crazy Workout For Guddu Bhaiya
In a recent conversation with Instant Bollywood, Ali got candid about the extreme fitness journey he took to become Guddu Bhaiya. And let’s just say, it wasn’t your average gym routine.

“I used to spend hours in the gym. Three hours a day, twice a day. For six or seven months,” he shared. “Because I was doing everything naturally, it was just harder. Ten times harder. Like, you’re lifting heavy weights, eating just as much. It gets frustrating at times, that’s all.”
Let’s be real. Most people struggle to make it to the gym once a day. Doing it twice, for months on end, without shortcuts like steroids or drastic diets? That’s dedication on another level. No wonder Guddu Bhaiya looked like he could break a door down with just a stare.

Ali Fazal Reveals 3 Fitness Tips
When asked about relying on protein shakes, he was clear that while he’s not a fitness guru or a doctor, he has figured out a few things that work for him.
First on his list was something almost everyone overlooks: sleep. “The first, most important thing is sleep. Because all your recovery happens during sleep.” It might not sound fancy, but it’s the golden rule for anyone pushing their body hard.
Next came the basics. Workout consistently and maintain a good diet. No fancy fads. No trendy shortcuts. Just sticking to the fundamentals.
“Creatine is a very good, safe supplement. It’s natural and you can take it. It’s very good for muscle building.”
But perhaps the most valuable advice came when he spoke about the myth of the one-size-fits-all routine. “Other things depend on your body because everybody is different. Like your vitamins, your supplements with food. But all your vitamins depend on your diet. What you’re eating. Is the food you’re eating suiting your body or not?”
Ali made it clear that blindly copying someone else’s fitness plan won’t always work. “That go-to, one-size-fits-all diet? It doesn’t work for everyone. That’s wrong.”
So what should we take away from all this? If you want a Guddu Bhaiya-level transformation, be ready to put in the time. Get your sleep. Know your body. Stay consistent. And most importantly, stop chasing magic tricks.
