Bollywood stars Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani have welcomed their first child — a baby girl. The couple, who had announced their pregnancy on February 28 this year.
Both mother and daughter are said to be in good health.
The actress was originally due in August, but the baby arrived earlier than expected. Kiara was admitted to HN Reliance Hospital in Mumbai’s Girgaon area for the delivery.
Just last week, Sidharth and Kiara were seen visiting a clinic in the city, shielding themselves from paparazzi cameras with an umbrella. They were accompanied by Sidharth’s mother, Rimma Malhotra, and Kiara’s parents, Genevieve and Jagdeep Advani. Since revealing the pregnancy, the couple has mostly stayed out of the public eye.
On February 28, Sidharth and Kiara shared a heartfelt Instagram post that read, “The greatest gift of our lives coming soon,” alongside a photo of their hands holding a tiny pair of crocheted socks.
This year also marked a major milestone for Kiara as she made her debut at the Met Gala, turning heads in a breathtaking Gaurav Gupta ensemble. The highlight of her appearance was her baby bump, which designer Gaurav Gupta beautifully celebrated through his design.
Sidharth and Kiara tied the knot on February 7, 2023, in a fairytale wedding held at Suryagarh Palace in Rajasthan. The couple’s romance began during the filming of their movie Shershaah, which premiered on Amazon Prime Video in 2021. Throughout the shoot, they kept their relationship private, away from the public eye.
