Aneet Padda Early Life:

Born in October 2002, Aneet hails from a middle-class working family in Amritsar and grew up far removed from the glitz and glamour of Bollywood. As a teenager, she started her journey in the world of advertising as a model, which soon opened up more opportunities. She balanced her modelling career while earning a Bachelor’s degree from Jesus and Mary College, University of Delhi.
Aneet’s Big Break:

Aneet made her first on-screen appearance in the 2022 Kajol-starrer Salaam Venky. Her breakthrough, however, came the following year with Amazon Prime Video’s Big Girls Don’t Cry, where she starred alongside Pooja Bhatt, Raima Sen, and Zoya Hussain. Aneet fondly refers to the show’s directors, Nitya Mehra and Karan Kapadia, as her “Bombay parents.”

Breakthrough With Saiyaara:

In 2025, Aneet landed the lead role opposite Ahaan Panday in director Mohit Suri’ Saiyaara, had been specifically searching for fresh talent for the film. According to reports, Aneet was one among hundreds who auditioned for Saiyaara, but her performance stood out so much that both Mohit and the YRF team were instantly convinced—fast-tracking her into the role.
After being jilted by her lover, Vaani Batra (Aneet Padda) decides to focus on her writing career. She crosses paths with the hot-headed musician Krish Kapoor (Ahaan Panday). Sparks fly as the two enter into a creative collab for a song.
