While the two have shared screen space in several hit films, from Waqt Hamara Hai to the Hera Pheri series, Suniel revealed there’s something deeper that makes their bond so special.
“Akshay reminds me of my cousin Ullas,” Suniel said with a nostalgic smile. “That’s probably why I’ve always felt emotionally attached to him. There’s just something in the wiring, the structure, the look (especially when they were both younger and leaner) that brings Ullas to mind.”
“I told Akshay this on the very first day we met,” he recalled. “It was our first day shooting for Waqt Hamara Hai, and I said to him, ‘God, man, the way you behave, everything about you…’ I was just so excited.”

Suniel Shetty On Hera Pheri 3
Their off-screen bond has only made their on-screen chemistry stronger, and fans are now eagerly waiting for the two to reunite in the much-anticipated Hera Pheri 3. And while Suniel didn’t spill too many details, he made it clear the team is finally on the same page.
“Now, everything is good with Hera Pheri,” he confirmed. “I’ll just say this – I don’t want to jinx it. I’ll talk about Hera Pheri 3 on the day it releases. In fact, I’ll talk about it so much, people will get tired of hearing me.”
