Known for his intense performances, Manoj shared that he’s done this not just once or twice, but countless times across his career. He was asked about how he deeply got into his character in Gali Guleiyan, and whether there were any other films where he felt he had gone to an extreme step.
“I have gone extreme many times. I went deeply in Shool, in Satya, in Gali Guleiyan, lately in Joram too. In Jugnuma, I immersed myself differently. Even for Aligarh and Bhosle, I went to an extreme step. How many times I’ve gone there, I can’t even count,” he revealed, sounding both amused and proud of his dedication.

Manoj Bajpayee On The Process Behind Transforming For Complex Roles
So, what’s his secret sauce for transforming into these complex roles? Manoj explains that the process never stays the same. Having a background in theater, attending workshops, and even conducting them, he’s experimented a lot.
