In a recent chat with Instant Bollywood, the actor admitted that he doesn’t watch his own work at all. Yes, you read that right; one of India’s finest performers, with a career full of powerhouse roles, doesn’t sit down to binge-watch himself.

When asked about it, Manoj simply said, “I don’t watch it. I don’t know why. After shooting, I just move forward. I try to get busy with other work as soon as possible.”

It sounds almost unbelievable, considering the rest of us can’t stop replaying a single Instagram reel we made five times in a row. But for him, it’s about avoiding the trap of self-expectation.
He explained further, “Expectation is the worst thing you can have from yourself or anyone. You will only feel disappointed. So, it’s better not to expect anything and keep yourself engaged with other things.”
Instead of obsessing over whether a scene could have been performed better, he focuses on what’s next. It is probably what keeps his craft sharp, and his mind stress-free.
