“I’m very happy with my life. For me, marriage and love are both very, very beautiful. This is my favorite subject. I love being in love. I really want to get married and have a family, but only with the person with whom I feel, ‘Yes, I want to spend my whole life with him,’” she said, lighting up at the idea.
But don’t mistake her excitement for desperation. Jaya was clear that she isn’t looking to marry just for the sake of it. She explained that she doesn’t want to tick a box or feel pressured by society.

“I really want to feel that love. I don’t want to do it just because I want to tick that box of ‘Oh, I got married.’ No. I’m very happy the way I am. I can live my life alone very well,” she added.
Jaya Kishori Is Even Considering Adoption
She even revealed that at one point she considered adoption or other options to have a child, showing just how open she is to building a family in unconventional ways!
What stood out most was her belief that timing doesn’t define happiness. “There’s also a very beautiful quote I read which said: ‘I have not seen people whose life got ruined because they married late. But I have definitely seen lives ruined because they married wrong.’” Jaya shared. For her, delaying marriage isn’t a tragedy. Marrying the wrong person is.
Love, according to Jaya, isn’t about rushing. It’s about finding the right person who makes forever feel effortless.
