Who Is Dhurandhar Actress Sara Arjun; Cast Opposite Ranveer Singh After 1,300 Auditions!
If you watched the Dhurandhar trailer and immediately paused at that blink-and-miss glimpse of the new heroine, you’re not alone. The Internet is already buzzing about the fresh-faced beauty romancing Ranveer Singh. So who is she? Let’s get to know Sara Arjun.

Who Is Dhurandhar Actress Sara Arjun; Cast Opposite Ranveer Singh After 1,300 Auditions!
Sara may be Ranveer’s newest co-star, but she’s not new to the camera. In fact, she’s practically grown up on screen. Born on 18 June 2005, Sara has appeared in over a hundred ad films for brands like McDonald’s and Clinic Plus. Yup, that familiar charm comes from years of practice.

She made her big acting debut as a child in the Tamil drama Deiva Thirumagal and absolutely swept audiences off their feet. Critics loved her too. She won Best Child Artist not only for Deiva Thirumagal but also for the Tamil film Saivam. She later appeared in Hindi films like Ek Thi Daayan, Jazbaa, Ajeeb Daastaans and plenty more.

And then came her surprise resurgence. Just when people wondered where the former child star had gone, Sara returned as the younger version of Aishwarya Rai’s Nandini in the Ponniyin Selvan movies. One look at that performance and you knew she was ready for her next big leap.
Sara Arjun Was Chosen Out Of 1,300 Girls For Dhurandhar

Her casting in Dhurandhar wasn’t random either. Director Aditya Dhar revealed that the team auditioned nearly 1,300 girls before picking Sara. “She was brilliant and simply the best. She is going to be a rockstar,” he said. High praise much? Absolutely.
Acting also runs in the family. She’s the daughter of actor Raj Arjun, known for Black Friday and Secret Superstar, and her mother Sanya Arjun is a dance teacher. No wonder Sara is trained in Kathak and modern dance.

Sara studied at the Isha School, but she’s chosen to focus fully on acting instead of a traditional college route. And honestly, with Dhurandhar as her big Bollywood debut opposite Ranveer Singh, she’s clearly on an exciting path.
However, there’s also a lot of chatter about the age gap. Sara is 20, while Ranveer is 40, which makes it a full 20-year age difference. Understandably, the casting has sparked mixed reactions online.
