Late Dharmendra’s Last Film Ikkis; Trailer Out!

Late Dharmendra’s Last Film Ikkis; Trailer Out! The trailer for Ikkis is out, and it brings a mix of emotions for everyone. This film is especially meaningful because it features the last screen appearance of the legendary Dharmendra, who passed away on November 24 at the age of 89.

He died at his Mumbai home after a brief illness, only a few days before his 90th birthday on December 8. His last rites were held at the Pawan Hans crematorium.

Dharmendra had been admitted to Breach Candy Hospital on October 31 after complaining of breathlessness. He was discharged earlier in the month, but sadly, he passed away on November 24. With Ikkis, he leaves behind a memorable and heartfelt final performance.

Late Dharmendra’s Last Film Ikkis; He Plays Arun Khetarpal’s Father

Directed by Sriram Raghavan, Ikkis tells the inspiring true story of Second Lieutenant Arun Khetarpal, the youngest recipient of the Param Vir Chakra. The film marks the theatrical debut of Agastya Nanda, grandson of Amitabh Bachchan. After appearing in The Archies, Agastya now plays the brave 21-year-old soldier who continued fighting in the Battle of Basantar even after his tank was hit. His courage turned him into a national hero.

Dharmendra playsKhetarpal’s father and brings depth, warmth, and emotion to the role. The makers summed it up perfectly – “Fathers raise sons. Legends raise nations.” The film also introduces Simar Bhatia, who is Akshay Kumar’s niece, along with the powerful Jaideep Ahlawat.

The trailer promises a gripping war drama filled with patriotism and heart. It also feels like a gentle and emotional farewell to Dharmendra, a man who shaped Hindi cinema for decades.

Ikkis Release Date:

Ikkis is scheduled to release in theatres on December 25, 2025. This film is not just a biopic. It is a tribute to a young war hero and to a legendary actor who continues to live on through his work.
