Ranveer Singh Gets A 10-Crore Extortion Threat, Security Tightened!
Just when Bollywood thought things couldn’t get more tense, here comes another shocker. After the recent firing incident outside Rohit Shetty’s house, Ranveer Singh has now reportedly found himself in the middle of a serious security scare.
According to a TOI report, a threat demanding Rs 10 crore was sent to Ranveer’s secretary via a WhatsApp voice note from an unidentified number. The sender allegedly claimed to be speaking on behalf of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. Naturally, this set off immediate alarm bells!

Following the threat, security outside Ranveer and Deepika Padukone’s Mumbai residence was beefed up big time. Mumbai Police launched a probe to trace the sender, while six private armed security guards were deployed alongside regular police presence outside the couple’s home. Senior officials have stayed tight-lipped, but the situation is clearly being taken very seriously.
What’s even more unsettling is that Ranveer isn’t the only one. Sources suggest that over the past 15 days, nearly a dozen Bollywood personalities have received threatening calls from people claiming links to the Bishnoi gang.

Amid all this chaos, Ranveer is still powering through on the work front. He is gearing up for Dhurandhar – The Revenge, the sequel to 2025’s highest-grossing Indian film, set to release on 19 March 2026. He has also been in the news recently for his reported fallout with Farhan Akhtar over his exit from Don 3.
