However, sources say Yash was “irked” that there was no courtesy call before locking the same release date. His team reportedly feels that transparent communication, common in South Indian cinema, is missing in Bollywood. That said, Yash is not backing down. He trusts the strength of Toxic and refuses to postpone, especially after fans have waited years to see him back on screen.

Meanwhile, Dhurandhar 2 faced criticism for allegedly violating safety norms during a Mumbai shoot.
