And, Radhika Apte is back!
On Women’s Day (March 8), the talented actress announced her new movie – Mrs. Undercover.
Written and directed by Anushree Mehta, Radhika will be seen as a housewife and covert agent, Durga in this spy-comedy film. Mrs. Undercover will have a direct-to-digital premiere on Zee5 later this year.
Sharing the first-look of the movie, Radhika wrote, “A housewife, a fearless agent and a hero? Well, she can be all! This #WomensDay, celebrating the undercover superheroes of our lives! #MrsUndercover coming soon only on #ZEE5.”
The direct-to-OTT film also stars Sumeet Vyas, Rajesh Sharma and Saheb Chatterjee in pivotal roles.
According to a report, Mrs. Undercover revolves around the story of a simple Indian housewife – a former special undercover agent – who is called back on the job after 10 whole years. However, she has now forgotten everything about being an undercover agent as she dedicated all her time to being ‘just’ a housewife, taking care of her in-laws, son and a demanding patriarchal husband.
Radhika Apte was last seen in the quirky Netflix film, Monica O My Darling.
