Sunny Deol Gadar 2 movie was released almost 3 weeks ago and there is no sign of it stopping.
In a span of just 17 days, Gadar 2 has crossed 450 crores at the box office.
As per reports, the movie gathered a whopping amount of 17 crores on its third Sunday and has brought up its final total to Rs 456.95 crore.
Gadar 2 movie has become the fastest film to breach the Rs 450 crore mark at the box office, outpacing the achievements of Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan and Prabhas’s Baahubali 2: The Conclusion.
While talking about it, Trade analyst Taran Adarsh wrote, “NEW RECORD… ‘GADAR 2’ FASTEST TO CROSS ₹ 450 CR… #Gadar2 will cross the enviable ₹ 450 cr mark in #India today [Sun]… In the past, only #Pathaan and #Baahubali2 #Hindi had cruised past ₹ 450 cr mark… ⭐️ #Gadar2: Day 17 [today] ⭐️ #Pathaan: Day 18 ⭐️ #Baahubali2 #Hindi: Day 20 #India biz. Gadar 2 movie was released on the same day as Akshay Kumar and Pankaj Tripathi’s OMG 2 but it stayed afloat and attracted a lot of audience to the theaters.

Tara Singh and Sakina have returned to the big screen after 23 years and have charmed the audience again with their love story. Directed by Anil Sharma, Gadar 2 is set against the backdrop of the ‘Crush India Movement’ of 1971. This time Tara Singh (Sunny Deol) is returning to fight Pakistan and rescue his son (Utkarsh). He promises Sakina (Ameesha) that he’ll save him.
Even back in 2001, when Gadar was released, it was facing tough competition from Aamir Khan’s Lagaan but Gadar ended up becoming the highest-grosser of that time as well.
