Directed by Ranjan Chandel and produced by Shobha Kapoor, Ektaa R Kapoor, Amul V Mohan and Anshul Mohan.
In the short teaser shared by the team, Vikrant can be seen in the role of the journalist – Shraban Kumar. He is breaking the news of the tragic Godhra incident – where 59 innocent people lost their lives in the Godhra train burning.
But while the teleprompter claims that it was an accident, the journalist firmly says that it wasn’t an accident.

On the personal front, Vikrant and his wife Sheetal Thakur were blessed with their first child – a baby boy. They have named him Vardaan!
Apart from The Sabarmati Report, Vikrant will be seen in the sequel of Haseen Dillruba – Phir Aayi Haseen Dillruba with Taapsee Pannu and Sunny Kaushal this time. Another one of his intriguing projects – Sector 36, a crime thriller inspired by the shocking true events of the Nithari Killings.
He also has another project tentatively titled TME.
