Maidaan trailer out now! The trailer of Ajay Devgn starrer highly-anticipated movie, Maidaan, was dropped today (March 7) at an event in Mumbai.
Directed by Amit Ravindernath Sharma (of Bhadaai Ho fame), Maidaan is a biographical sports drama that has been in the making for almost 5 years now. The movie stars Ajay Devgn, Gajraj Rao and Priyamani.

Devgn has slipped into the shoes of the Indian national football team coach and manager Syed Abdul Rahim who is regarded as the architect of Indian football.
The 2-minute 43-second trailer video offers a glimpse into the extraordinary life of the unsung hero, Syed Abdul Rahim.
The biographical sports-drama showcases the illustrious era of Indian football, spanning from 1952 to 1962. During this time, Syed Abdul Rahim’s guidance led the Indian football team to victory in the Asian Games of 1951 and 1962.
The trailer shows the commitment, obstacles, hurdles and challenges Rahim and the Indian football team face while making their mark internationally.

Ajay Devgn’s film will not have a solo release. Maidaan will have a box office clash with Akshay Kumar-Tiger Shroff’s much-anticipated movie, Bade Miyan Chote Miyan. Directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, the masala-actioner also stars Sonakshi Sinha, Manushi Chhillar and Alaya F.
