Bhumi Pednekar’s ‘Durgavati’ Changed To ‘Durgamati: The Myth’; New Poster Out!

Bhumi Pednekar is all set to explore the horror space in her upcoming supernatural thriller – ‘Durgavati’.

Except, now the title of the movie has been changed. Akshay Kumar, who’s one of the producers, announced the change with a new poster!

Taking to Instagram, Akshay unveiled the new title of the movie – “Durgamati: The Myth”. It is the remake of Anushka Shetty’s Telugu horror superhit Bhaagamathie. Bhumi looks fiercely spooky in this recent poster!

The film also stars Arshad Warsi, Karan Kapadia, and Mahie Gill in pivotal roles. The movie will premiere on Amazon Prime Video on December 11. 

The reason for the change in the title has not been revealed as of now. Earlier, after severe backlash, Akshay Kumar’s ‘Laxmmi Bomb’ had also undergone a title change with ‘Laxmii’.
