The actors embraced parenthood for the first time this year as they were blessed with a lovely daughter on 8th September 2024.

On the occasion of Diwali, the couple surprised us with the beautiful name of their daughter – Dua Padukone Singh.
“Dua Padukone Singh | दुआ पादुकोण सिंह 🧿‘Dua’ : meaning a Prayer. Because She is the Answer to our Prayers. Our hearts are filled with Love & Gratitude. Deepika & Ranveer” – the couple shared in a joint statement on Instagram.
Deepika and Ranveer had announced the pregnancy in February 2024 and welcomed their daughter in September. The couple had tied the knot on November 14, 2018, at Italy’s Lake Como.

This Diwali is special for the two lovebirds as rejoice both, personally and professionally. The couple is celebrating the festival for the first time with their newborn daughter as well as the day marks the release of Singham Again where both are playing headlining the multi-starrer.
Deepika is going to be on maternity leave till March 2025 post which she’ll resume filming for Kalki 2898 AD sequel. Moreover, she also has The Intern remake with Big B in the pipeline.
Apart from Singham Again, Ranveer Singh has Don 3 and an action-thriller helmed by Aditya Dhar.
