Ayushmann Khurrana replaced in Daayra by THIS SOUTH STAR?
Ayushmann and Kareena Kapoor Khan were supposed to star in Meghna Gulzar’s upcoming film –Daayra. But looks like the casting has undergone a change.

As per reports, Ayushmann has exited the project owing to conflict with the dates. He is busy with an extensive music tour and has a jam-packed schedule with movies like Border 2, Thama and an action-comedy with Sara Ali Khan under Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions and Guneet Monga’s Sikhya Entertainment.

After Ayushmann’s exit, South star Prithviraj has been approached for Daayra and he’s excited about this opportunity though he has not officially signed on yet. He will allegedly be seen in the role of a police officer.
Prithviraj Opposite Kareena Kapoor Khan In Daayra
A source said – “Prithviraj connected with the script and the film’s message. His role is essential in driving the narrative, while Kareena’s character will show her in a new light, exuding strength, vulnerability, and intuition. Prithviraj has heard the script and is very excited about it.”
As per reports, Daayra is loosely inspired by the 2019 Hyderabad encounter case; wherein 4 gangrape suspects were allegedly killed by police officials in Hyderabad. The 4 accused had allegedly assaulted and murdered a young vet doctor.
Ayushmann recently announced his next – Thama with Rashmika Mandanna. From the makers of Stree, Bhediya and Munjya…..comes another terrific addition – Thama!
