After the success of his 2024 Valentine’s Day release Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Ulja Jiya, Shahid Kapoor was set to return to theaters with the action film Deva alongside Pooja Hegde.
However, it seems that fans may get to see Shahid on the big screen even earlier than expected.
While earlier the makers had asserted that they wanted to add some action in Valentine’s week, they decided to postpone the release. However, we now hear that Zee Studios and Roy Kapur Films have jointly decided to release the film in the last week of January. Sources revealed that Deva, which is all set to provide adrenaline rush as Zee Studios and Roy Kapur Films’ much-anticipated high-octane action thriller, will release in cinemas on January 31, 2025. Trade analyst Taran Adarsh also confirmed the news in his tweet.

Deva, an upcoming action thriller starring Shahid Kapoor, is set to release on January 31, 2025. This will mark Shahid’s return to the big screen after nearly a year. The film will feature Shahid Kapoor in a cop role, paired with Pooja Hegde for the first time. Directed by Rosshan Andrrews and produced by Zee Studios and Siddharth Roy Kapur, Deva promises a thrilling cinematic experience with a gripping storyline and powerful performances.
