Amitabh Bachchan has been legendary as the father figure, be it K3G, Baghban or Sooryavansham!
He’s reportedly all set to play the patriarchal family head again and this time he will be collaborating with Sooraj Barjatya.
Sooraj Barjatya is known for his family entertainers like ‘Hum Saath Saath Hain’, ‘Hum Aapke Hain Koun’ and ‘Vivah’. This will be the 1st time Bachchan and Barjatya are teaming up for an out-and-out family drama.
An insider source told Midday – “The film will roll in the first quarter of 2021, and mark the first collaboration of Bachchan and Barjatya, as actor and director. Bachchan had loved the script when it was narrated to him earlier this year. He plays the family patriarch.”
Sooraj also has a movie planned with Salman Khan but that will kickstart only in 2022, as he’s focusing on Big B’s project. On the other hand, Senior Bachchan has movies like ‘Mayday’, ‘Brahmastra’, ‘Jhund’ and ‘Prabhas 21’ in his current pipeline.
