Son Of Sardaar 2 Movie Review; Unfunny And Cringe

Storyline:
Jassi (Ajay Devgn) flies to Scotland, only to catch his long-distance wife cheating. On the verge of divorce, he crosses paths with Rabia (Mrunal Thakur), a fiery Pakistani dancer who’s been dumped by her two-timing husband. She’s desperate to get her stepdaughter married, but there’s a catch – the groom’s father (Ravi Kishan) hates Pakistanis.
So, Rabia ropes in Jassi to pretend to be her husband and a retired Indian Army colonel, just to win the old man’s approval. What follows is complete chaos.
The film’s also got a lovable transwoman (Deepak Dobriyal) & Kubbra Sait trying to hold this ragtag team together.

Son Of Sardaar 2 Movie Review:
Son of Sardaar 2 tries to be a wild comedy, but ends up being unfunny and painfully cringe. You’d expect at least a few chuckles from a so-called brain rot entertainer, but not even a proper giggle escapes.
Ajay Devgn looks like he’s sleepwalking through the film. His natural comic timing is completely wasted because the writing is flat and lazy. The punchlines don’t land, the dances are awkward, and everything feels forced.
Mrunal Thakur, who actually can be funny and has solid screen presence, is absolutely wasted. She deserves so much better than this weak, clueless script. Also, her chemistry with Ajay is awkward. The glaring age gap only makes it more uncomfortable to watch.
Deepak Dobriyal is the rare bright spot. He plays an endearing transwoman with surprising grace. Kubbra Sait, unfortunately, gets the short end of the stick, and is stuck in this ensemble cast with nothing meaningful to do. Ravi Kishan, to his credit, actually delivers a solid performance, but it’s not enough to save the film.
There’s brain rot cinema that at least gives you some mindless laughs. This one doesn’t even manage that. It’s messy, joyless, and a complete missed opportunity.
